2013 De Bortoli Villages Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Fleshy white peach top notes are followed by some cashew, funky flinty matchstick characters and subtle citrus. Light in weight the palate has a very elegant mouthfeel with flavours of white peach and nectarine followed by some funky matchstick characters, subtle cashew and light citrus. Clean dry finish with good fresh acidity. Aftertaste of white peach, nectarine, funky matchstick characters and subtle cashew.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
