Totally opaque black purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. Nosing reveals perfumed scents of violets followed by dark plum, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak. Medium to full bodied, soft and youthful with a fruity richness, the palate has flavours of plum, freshly crushed blackberries, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak. Velvety tannins with an aftertaste of freshly crushed blackberries, plums, liquorice and spicy vanillin oak. A soft, still quite youthful Heathcote Shiraz.
