2013 Aventino Tempranillo

Sourced from vines up to 80 years old. Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright purple crimson hue. Inky black cherry and liquorice aromas are to the fore followed by some incense, earth and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has fruity black cherry and liquorice flavours which dominate over dried meats, inky earth and spice. Dryish finish with slightly firmish tannins and bright acidity keeping things fresh. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, meaty characters, inky earth and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
