2013 Ata Rangi Celebre

The Celebre is a blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a bright dark red hue. The nose displaying lifted blackcurrant and red cherry aromas with a spicy cedar overlay and faint earth end notes. Medium bodied and elegant but with good underlying fruit the palate possesses flavours of ripe mulberries, blackcurrant, spicy cedar and a subtle earthiness on the dryish finish. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of earthy mulberries, blackcurrant and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
