Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple hue. Lifted ripe dark cherry and blackberry aromas are followed by some liquorice, light earth and spice. Medium bodied the palate features generous black cherry and dark plum flavours over some lightly scorched earth and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of black cherries, plum and spicy scorched earth.
