Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aromas of ripe blackberries and liquorice are to the fore followed by some dark plum, vanillin oak and spice. Rich fleshy textured flavours of ripe blackberries of ripe blackberries and liquorice dominate over some dark plum, vanillin oak and earthy spice. Solidly built but velvet smooth tannins. Excellent length with a long conclusion of ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice, vanillin oak, light earth and spice.
