2012 Te Mata Elston Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with some greenish pale gold highlights around the edges and a watery hue. The nose displays lifted ripe pear and peach top notes intermixed with light honeycomb followed by some cashew, nougat and spice. Medium bodied the palate possesses good richness along with a textured mouthfeel delivering flavours of ripe pear, cashew, light dried honey and spice with a twist of citrus on the bright fresh finish. Aftertaste of ripe pear, cashews, dried honey, nougat and spice.
