Opaque black red colour with a dark crimson hue. On the nose blackcurrant scents are followed by some dark chocolate toasty cedar, earth and spice. Medium bodied the palate has generous blackcurrant flavours over some cedary tobacco, toast and spice. Slightly bitter finish with chewy tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, bitter dark chocolate, toasty oak and spice.
