Opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose reveals fresh dark raspberry and plum top notes followed by liquorice, subtle meatiness and spicy pepper. Medium to full bodied the palate features a succulent flavour profile of black raspberries and liquorice over some meatiness and faint earth finishing with spice and pepper on the back palate. Excellent length and intensity with slightly dryish fine grained tannins providing ample structure. Long conclusion of peppery black raspberries, liquorice and subtle spicy dried meats.
