Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark red purple hue. The nose displays ripe blackberry and black raspberry top notes followed by a hint of liquorice, some light toastiness and spice. Medium bodied with a joosy mouthfeel the palate has flavours of ripe blackberry and dark raspberry to the fore followed by some liquorice and meaty pepper. Very fine grained tannins. Long liquorice, blackberry, dark raspberry and meaty pepper aftertaste.
