Totally opaque inky black colour with a dark purple black tinged hue. The nose displays ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas followed by some vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has generous flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice which are dominate over some dark plum, lightly toasted vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Good depth with a long liquorice, blackberry, subtle vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
