Crafted for the curious whisky lover, the Old Particular Wine Cask Collection is a celebration of single cask malts elevated by wine cask finishes (typically sweet, fortified, or red wine wood). Each release is a fusion of tradition and innovation, aiming to enhance rather than smother the inherent qualities of the chosen malt, while adding a little extra depth and complexity. In order to seperate this series from the rest of the Old Particular collection, the whiskies come with a bespoke label design and sleek black bottles.

Kicking off the series is an Auchroisk, distilled in 2012 with a finish in a tawny Port hogshead. Juicy red fruits and warming spicy notes are accompanied by pastry, orange peel, marzipan and burnt orange zest. The outturn was 296 bottles. 48.4% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
