2012 Dexter Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark crimson red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a crimson red hue. Expressive aromas of ripe dark cherries and strawberries are followed by some anise, subtle gamey characters and spicy cedar. The palate does not have quite the level of concentration that the nose would suggest possessing delicious ripe dark cherry and strawberry flavours over some light anise and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins. Very good power wave with long supplely textured aftertaste of dark cherries, strawberries, delicate anise and spicy cedar. Drink over the next 5-6 years.
