2012 Cape Barren Native Goose Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black purple colour with deep dark purple black tinged hue. The nose displays pronounced aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum which are prevalent over a background of dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Big and rich with an opulent texture the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice followed by some dark chocolate, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins enhance the wines suppleness. Medium to long liquorice, blackberry, toasty vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
