Aged in French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark plum and liquorice aromas are followed by hints of fennel and spicy vanillin cedar. Medium bodied the palate possesses ripe dark cherry and plum flavours over traces of liquorice, fennel, lightly smoked cedar and spice. Fine grained tannins with a soft mid palate. Aftertaste of liquorice, plum infusions of fennel and spicy lightly smoked vanillin cedar.
