2012 Bird in Hand Two In The Bush Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Last month we featured Bird in Hand's straight Sauvignon Blanc which offered intense aromatics and delicious tropical fruit flavours. This wine puts the focus on Semillon (75%) bringing zesty citrus characteristics to the fore, tempering the tropical flavours and adding complexity.

Brilliant water like colour with distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. On the nose passionfruit and tropical fruit top notes are followed by a touch of green apple and citrus. Intense passionfruit and tropical fruit flavours dominate the palate followed by some citrus on the back palate. Clean crisp refreshing finish with long tropical fruit and citrus aftertaste. Drink now. Alc 12.5%
