Opaque black crimson colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. Blackcurrant and ripe mulberry scents are followed by some toasty cedar, light bay leaf and spicy tobacco notes. Medium to full bodied the palate features rich blackcurrant and ripe mulberry flavours over some cedary tobacco, light bay leaf and spice. Generous mouthfeel with a dryish finish and very fine grained well integrated tannins. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry, toasty cedar and spice.
