Opaque black dark crimson colour with deep dark crimson black tinged hue. Nosing reveals opening aromas of ripe black plums and liquorice followed by some black cherries with spice end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate features generous ripe dark plum and black cherry flavours with nuances of liquorice also present finishing quite spicy. Soft velvet smooth tannins are virtually undetectable. Medium to long dark plum, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
