Blended with a small portion of Petit Verdot and Malbec. Totally opaque midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromatics of blackcurrant and black olives intermixed with hints of graphite, toasty cedar and spice. Elegant and still quite tightly knit, flavours of blackcurrant, subtle liquorice and black olives are meshed together over toasty cedar and spice. Dryish finish with a sturdy tannin structure compacting the mouthfeel. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, liquorice, toasty cedar and spice.
