Opaque black dark red colour with a dark crimson red black tinged hue. The nose displays excellent aromatics with lifted scents of ripe blackcurrant intermixed with black olive, tobacco, toasty cedar, a hint of liquorice and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is very inviting with generous flavours of ripe blackcurrants over some lightly toasted cedar, tobacco and spice. Very fine grained beautifully integrated tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco and spice.
