2011 Jean-Luc Colombo Les Abeilles de Colombo Cotes du Rhone

A blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre. Deep dark purple red colour with dark red purple hue. The nose displays dark raspberry scents intermixed with some earthy meatiness, subtle lavender, liquorice and spice. Medium bodied with generous palate flavours or ripe dark raspberry and black cherry followed by some liquorice and earthy dried meat characters with a spicy finish. Slightly dryish fine grained tannins. Medium to long spicy dark raspberry, black cherry, liquorice and dried meats aftertaste.
Cellar 3-4 years.
