A joint venture between Chateau Cheval Blanc and Terrazas de los Andes, the 2010 harvest was a perfect year for Mendoza’s signature varietal, Malbec, that produced fruit with exceptional phenolic maturity & fruit concentration along with mature tannins. The wine has been aged in a combination of French & American oak barrels for 12 months.

An Argentinean Malbec that possesses excellent structure and concentration.

Outstanding colour – totally opaque inky black crimson red with very deep dark crimson red hue. On the nose perfumed violet scents interact with dark cherry, blackcurrant and liquorice followed by some earthy leather like notes and spice. The palate delivers rich concentrated black cherry and liquorice flavours followed by some cedar, earth and spice. Dry finish with chewy mouthfeel and assertive firm tannin structure, but balanced, it just requires time to fully integrate. Long ripe black cherry, liquorice, subtle earth and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years (2018-2019).
Alc 14.50%
