Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice and vanillin oak are to the fore followed by some mocha and light earth. The palate possesses good richness and is in a medium to full bodied mould with flavours of dark plum, liquorice, vanillin oak, light mocha and spice. Fine grained tannins verging on being velvety in appearance. Aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, vanillin oak and mocha.
