A small portion of this blend (5%) was fermented in French oak barrels. Brilliant water like colour with very pale straw greenish tinged edges and watery hue. The nose displays grassy top notes followed by some citrus, green apple and fresh herbs. The palate is quite flavoursome and possesses good mouthfeel. Flavours of citrus, pear and melon are followed by a touch of mineral on the finish. Clean crisp acidity. Aftertaste of green apple, citrus and melon.
