Totally opaque black purple colour with deep black purple hue. The nose displays aromas of dark plum and black cherry followed by some liquorice and spice. Full bodied the palate is loaded with an abundance of ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruit with a smoky overlay. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins. Excellent depth with long aftertaste of black cherry, blackberry, liquorice, smoky oak and spice.
