A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz matured for up to 24 months in French and American oak. Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose offers up lifted scents of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and choc mint followed by some vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied the palate delivers rich ripe blackcurrant and dark choc mint flavours followed by some vanillin cedar. Dry finish with firm grippy tannins that require time to fully integrate. Long ripe blackcurrant, choc mint and vanillin cedar aftertaste.
