Opaque black crimson colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays strong blackpepper top notes followed by some blackberry, meaty characters and spice. Medium to full bodied and showing much more finesse than its Barossa counterparts the palate is quite spicy with blackberry, liquorice and blackpepper flavours. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannin structure. Long blackpepper, blackberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
