Lifted mulberry, black plum and aniseed aromas followed by fresh upfront flavours of cloves and plum with subtle sarsaparilla and black pepper finishing with firm tannins. Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Shiraz, Durif and Tinto Cao. Careful cellaring of up to 20 years or more will reward a patient wine lover.
