2009 Signatory Vintage Cameronbridge 16 Year Old 100 Proof Edition #3 Single Grain Scotch Whisky (700ml)
Judging by online reviews, this sounds like a grain that tastes like it's peaking early, probably the result of input from the first and second refill casks which makes it taste richer than you'd expect. Says one, "Pleasant dram for sure, and very decent for quite a young grain." 57.1% Alc./Vol. Non-chill filtered.
Other reviews... Nice, consistent whisky. Powerful, but not too much; sweet and red fruits, and some earthy vibes later on. Nose: Full scent, vanilla sweetness and some berries, a whiff of darker red fruits. Taste: Powerful, not too hefty. Red fruits, berries, milk chocolate now, vanilla sweetness. A little earthy touch noticeable later on. Finish: A bit more alcohol noticeable, but still very drinkable. Red fruits again, berries, a bit of earthy touch as well. A bit drying mouthfeel, medium long finish. - whiskyfun.com
