2009 Sanguine Estate Progeny Shiraz

Outstanding opaque black purple colour with deep black purple hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice, inky blackberry and spice with a light toast overlay and a hint of blackpepper as an end note. Full bodied the palate possesses the richness and concentration one has come to expect from Heathcote Shiraz with flavours of ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice with a spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins, slightly dryish but balanced with long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, liquorice, spice and blackpepper.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
