2009 Michel Tardieu Le Cavalier Seul Syrah Viognier

A blend of 97% Shiraz and 3% Viognier. Opaque dark crimson deep purple colour with deep crimson purple hue. Aromas of blackberry, plum and liquorice followed by a touch of dried apricot and spice. Medium weight the palate is quite soft and generous with flavours of blackberry, liquorice and plum followed by some spice. Fine grained soft tannin structure with aftertaste of liquorice, plum and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2010-2014).
