Matured in 26% new and 74% seasoned French oak for 24 months. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe mulberry and dark cherry followed by some cedar and spice. Generous dark mulberry and dark cherry palate flavours with some cedar and spice on the back palate. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannin structure. Aftertaste of dark mulberry, cedar and spice.
