2009 Howard Park Flint Rock Pinot Noir
Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with mauve crimson hue. The nose is a little subdued at first with aromas of dark cherry, dark plum, clove, toasty cedar and spice emerging and gaining in intensity. Light to medium weight the palate delivers flavours of dark cherry and spice followed by some earthy cedar like characters. Dry finish with fine grained tannin structure. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherry and earth.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
