2009 Hollick Ravenswood Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 18 months in new French oak. Totally opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red black hue. The nose exhibits perfumed scents of dark ripe blackcurrant and dark plum intermixed with some dark chocolate followed by a touch of mint, cedar and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses an abundance of rich ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate flavours over a background of cedar, some cigar box and spice. Dryish finish with solid firmly structured tannins providing the necessary support to carry the fruit. Excellent concentration with long ripe blackcurrant, dark chocolate and spicy cedar aftertaste.
