2009 Domaine Pichot Vouvray Methode Traditionelle Brut

White creamy mousse that dissipates relatively quickly revealing a deep straw coloured base wine.Very persistent fine bead. The nose displays distinctive baked apple top notes followed by some ripe pear, a touch of quince and spice. The palate is quite fruity with flavours of Jonathan apple and ripe pear followed by some quince and cinnamon like characters. Clean crisp finish. Aftertaste of baked apple, pear and cinnamon.
