In terms of peat, one of the quieter Ardmores of recent tastings. Eminently drinkable, even for 'non smokers', the profile falls mainly in the rich, chocolatey spectrum. Gentle bitterness on the finish calls for water. Rounded and accessible. STR barrique matured. 60.3% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... NOSE: Toasted oak with a hint of Black Forest Gateau. Mild spiciness. PALATE: More peat than expected with a rich sweetness (oak, vanilla, syrup). FINISH: Sweet and syrupy with a slight peppery tingle in the aftertaste.
