2009 Chateau Mazeris

Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose is quite perfumed with ripe blackcurrant and dark ripe cherry aromas leading the way followed by some cedary earth and spice notes. The palate possesses impressive richness with ripe mouthfilling flavours of blackcurrant and black cherry followed by some toasty cedar, earth and spice. Dry firmish tannins but well concealed by the fruit and in balance. Medium to long chewy blackcurrant, cedar, scorched earth and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years (2018-2019).
