An obscure Highlander, rarely bottled, but with a top reputation among the blending community. Founded in 1876, whisky boffins will be interested to know the distillery closed for 18 months for a major upgrade in 2018, including the installation of two external washbacks. That makes this 2009 distillation one of a dwindling number of pre-renovation bottlings.
