Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark brick red hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice mix with earthy tobacco scents, vanillin cedar and spicy leather end notes. Full in body, rich blackcurrant and aniseed flavours yield to toasty vanillin oak, earthy leather and spice characters on the back half. Opulent mouthfeel with velvety tannins. Concludes long, ripe and lush.
