Superb opaque black purple colour with black purple hue displaying excellent glass cling. The nose is quite restrained with subtle aromas of toast, liquorice and dark plum emerging. Full bodied with a ripe flavour profile of dark plum and ripe blackcurrant with some spice and pepper characters on the back palate. Slightly chalky tannins with aftertaste of blackcurrant and spice.
