Sourced from low yielding, partially irrigated vines at Reillys St Clare Vineyard, this wine was open fermented and matured in French Oak Hogsheads for 10 months. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. Plummy dark chocolate aromas are followed by some confectionary and spice notes. Concentrated and opulent with palate flavours of super ripe blackcurrant, spice, dark chocolate and liquorice allsorts. Soft fine grained tannins with aftertaste of blackcurrant, liquorice and spice.
