Matured in new French oak hogsheads for 40 months. Totally opaque inky black colour with deep dark red black hue. Nosing reveals scents of ripe dark plums, liquorice, dark chocolate and vanillin oak. Full bodied, very rich and opulently textured the palate delivers sumptuous plush flavours of dark ripe plum, dark chocolate and liquorice with some intermingling mocha and vanillin oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Superb depth. Long voluptuous aftertaste of ripe dark plums, dark chocolate, liquorice, vanillin oak and spice.
