The “Straight From The Cask” range are typically matured in two types of wood, Bourbon barrels and wine casks. In these expressions, the fruit influence of some of the finest European wines combines with the inherent richness of Edradour's spirit. This edition departs from tradition having spent its full term in a wine cask. Distilled in 2008 and filled into an ex-Sauternes (Bordeaux sweet white wine) barrel in October 2008, cask #337 the yield was 388 bottles at a natural strength of 61.3% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
