Mannochmore is another Diageo blend filler, being the signature component in Haig. The general style falls under the fruity' category, with a texture that's often creamy or waxy with a crisp, dry finish. Laing & Co. have charged 325 bottles from a refill hogshead. 48.4% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... Nose: Aniseed and orange rind give way to caramel and honey'd malt. Palate: Golden syrup and double cream with freshly backed buttery biscuits. Finish: Long with hard candy, spiced oak and a raspberry conserve sweetness.
