Glenburgie debuts in the Old Particular range! The Pernod Ricard distillery remains a critical component in the mega-conglomerate Ballantine’s blend. Unfortunately very, very little gets released under the Glenburgie label, so it's not a name widely recognised here or overseas. The spirit has the potential to deliver a fruit bomb, loaded with notes like peach, pear, apple, and mandarin. Laing's outturn is 317 bottles from a refill hogshead. 48.4% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... Nose: Orange rind is immediately apparent developing to a gristy, sugary sweetness. Palate: Gentle spiced oak gives way to creamy cereal, toffee apples and hard candy. Finish: Baking spice linger with more of that earlier fresh fruit sweetness.
