Displaying a totally opaque black dark purple colour with a very deep dark purple hue this wine was matured for 24 months in French oak. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant are followed by some liquorice, cedar and spice. Full bodied and very rich the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice followed by some dark chocolate and spicy cedar. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, liquorice and spice.
