2007 The Whisky Trail Teaninich 13 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A new independent label from Elixir Distillers, 'The Whisky Trail' focuses on lesser known distilleries and unique expressions from some favourites, occasionally straying into unfamiliar but exciting territory. This example from Teaninich was distilled in 2007 and is reportedly expressive of the soft fruity style that the distillery is known for, augmented by maturation in a refill sherry butt - think orchard fruits and citrus in a creamy vanilla setting. The outturn was 655 bottles at 58.1% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
