2007 Langmeil Hangin' Snakes Shiraz Viognier

This wine is comprised of 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier. The wine has been matured in 90% old French and 10% American hogsheads. The grapes have been hand picked, open fermented and then basket pressed.

Very deep crimson mauve colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Top note of ripe apricot, followed by ripe plum, raspberry and spice, delivering a perfumed lift. Full bodied palate with flavours of dark chocolate, plum, liquorice and apricot. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, plum and apricot.
