2007 Gioiello Estate Reserve Cabernet Merlot

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. On the nose lifted ripe blackcurrant top notes are intermixed with some black cherry, cedar and earth. Medium to full bodied the palate has flavours of blackcurrant, spicy cedar, leather and earth. Velvet smooth tannins with a dryish finish. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and earthy leather.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
