2007 Domaine Mongeard Mugneret Grands-Echezeaux Grand Cru

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with mauve crimson hue. Excellent perfumed lift with top notes of ripe dark cherries, plum and violets followed by some meaty cedar and spice aromas. The palate is slightly richer and fuller than the 2007 Domaine Monegeard-Mugneret Vieille Vigne Echezeaux delivering an expansive flavour profile of dark cherry, violet infusions, plum, cedar, dried meat and spice which are all seamlessly integrated. Dry finish with almost velvet like tannin structure and supple mouthfeel. Superb power wave with very long dark cherry, spice and meaty cedar aftertaste. Outstanding.
